Zain Ali Shah

Zain Ali Shah has chosen two parallel careers that couldn’t be more different: he is both a professional boxer and an artist. Zain discovered his passions during high-school: watching a fight he found himself filling a whole 35mm film with action-packed images. Born in Lahore, Pakistan, Zain studied Fine Arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design and now lives in New York. His dominantly black-and-white images feature a powerful undertone that seems to reflect the energy and vibe of the sport he so loves. He often depicts beautiful women with striking features and creates a simple, almost graphic aesthetic.
