Iris Lehnhardt heads outdoors in Germany’s hilly Hunsrück region every time she embarks on a new project. She carefully observes the natural beauty of her surroundings, translating what catches her eye into works of art with the stroke of a paintbrush, or the click of a camera. From minimal mountainscapes to muted landscapes to leafy abstractions, Iris portrays elements from nature in an entirely new light with a wide palette of mediums.
