Joachim Host has the desire to do "something". He doesn't know what it is – but it drives him. He describes that urge like a kind of infinite faith, which comes less with rational thinking and more with blind trust. The Danish artist's work is characterised by geometric shapes and patterns, coupled with a strong interest in interdependence and balance. Joachim's designs always revolve around a conceptual approach that plays humorously and almost lovingly with opposites.
